FSRace Systems and GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a privacy regulation enacted by the European Union (EU) to strengthen the protection of individuals' data. It became enforceable on May 25, 2018, and applies to any company that handles the data of EU citizens, no matter where the company is based.

This page explains how we handle data responsibly, transparently, and securely.

Purpose of this document

At FSRace Systems, we are committed to protecting the privacy of students, faculty members, partners, and all users of the platform.

Who we are

FSRace Systems provides a SaaS platform designed for Formula Student teams. We act as a data processor on behalf of teams. Teams remain the data controllers of the information they manage within the platform.

Why data is processed

Data retention

Teams control what they store and delete. Data remains available for as long as the team maintains its subscription, unless deletion is requested earlier. Backups may persist for a limited technical period before permanent removal.

Unless you decide to integrate third-party services, for example, to connect to the platform (Google, Microsoft, etc.).

Your rights


Because teams act as data controllers, many requests should be addressed directly to the team leadership first.
